Great Black & White Photographers; PART 2.

Walker Evans , was born on November 3 , 1903 , in St. Louis Missouri . He was a graduate at Phillips Academy . He worked for FSA( Farm Security Administration ) , RA ( Resettlement Administration ) , & a staff writer at 'Time". His goal in life was to make pictures literate , authoritative , & transcendent . He came from an affluent or wealthy family . He started photography in 1928 . Some of the books by Walker Evans are "Let Us Now Praise Famous Men" , "The Photographer's Eye" , "Something Permanent" , & " Many Are Called" . He died on April 10 , 1975 at the age of 71 .
