Unusual and Interesting Photo's; PART 2.

I chose this picture, because the first thing i saw was them stretching the same stretch i do every single day at marching band practice, & it just cracked me up, honestly.

The category i found this picture in was Photojournalist of the Year (smaller markets).

The award won for this picture was 1st place.

What got my eye is how he off centered it .

I think this picture was mainly the subject maybe it's just me because I'm in marching band but you can sort of see the nervousness and excitement of it all.

Well I'm assuming that this is a warm up right before a competition and he tries and achieves allowing you to see all of the preparedness and tenseness in these young kids.

I picked this photo because i liked how in the background there's a picture of a boy dancing, mirroring the real boy the focus of the picture.

I got this from the category called, Photojournalist of the Year (larger markets).

The award won for this picture was 1st place.

What got my eye is the angle, everything is like slanted or tipsy turvy, the tree sort of throws it off too.

I think for this one it's the background, it makes a huge difference, and seeing the boy and painting mirror each other brings it to life.
It shows that even though this boy's dance class is burned down, he refuses to stop practicing, if you really wanna do something you will , he captured motivation.

I picked this photo because i don't know what it's like to have lost someone in a scenario like this, but from this picture and can feel it a little bit, taste it.
This photo was taken from the category, Domestic News Picture Story.

This picture won 1st place.

I like the gray scale it gives it more of the sadness and seriousness of the picture.

I think this one is both, the little boy supporting his father shows a lot, but the memorial itself is also significant.

The uniqueness i guess kind of goes back to the first picture, to me he took a really good picture, one i feel i can taste.
